The
Radio Dept. are a band with many facets; they can be sweetly
charming yet strangely twisted, and are far from conventional.
Their fugged bedroom-production style gives them a discernible
edge and helps to mark them out as more than mere contenders.
Tracks
like 'Where Damage Isn't Already Done' and 'Why Won't You
Talk About It?' show them at their dirty, melodic best while,
on the other hand, live favourite '1995' displays Johan's
song writing in a more stripped down form, whilst the delicate
instrumental 'Slottet #2' brings yet another dimension to
the fold.
