Following
a very successful visit to the UK earlier this month to tear
up the party for Puma at their pre Olympic celebrations in
London and Athens, Chaka Demus and Pliers are back for carnival
weekend.
They
will be performing on the main stage of the Leeds carnival
on Sunday, 29 August, before doing the rounds at Notting Hill,
appearing on a number of radio stages and sound systems on
bank holiday Monday, including the Saxon system and BBC1Xtra,
before wrapping the day up with an appearance at the prestigious
Ten Rooms carnival afterparty on 30 August.
Previewing
the forthcoming single, 'Dance Baby Dance,' fans can expect
to hear classics such as 'Murder She Wrote', 'Tease Me' and
more from the guys this bank holiday. An album featuring the
slick production skills of Sly, and a full UK tour to promote
the launch of the album is to follow.
