Danger of discovery mounts for PC Kerry Young (Beth Cordingly)
when she witnesses the death of one of the Radford escort
girls. Irene Radford (Lynda Bellingham) later summons Kerry
to take care of another girl who is causing a disturbance
and orders Kerry to hit her. How far will Kerry go to protect
her cover?

Rob Thatcher (Brian Bovell) gets nervous when he hasn’t
heard from Kerry for days and when an unidentifiable body
is found in the back of a burnt out vehicle, he begins to
fear the worst. Has Kerry paid the ultimate price for her
undercover work?
As
DI Neil Manson (Andrew Lancel) and PC Andrea Dunbar’s
(Natalie J Robb) relationship develops, they find they are
unable to resist temptation. The following pillow talk sees
Neil spill the beans on Superintendent Adam Okaro’s cannabis
charges and Andrea is quick to leak the story to her editor,
sparking a press scrum outside Sun Hill. Will the media spotlight
finally spell the end of Okaro’s career?
Also
this week, SRO Marilyn Chambers (Vickie Gates) gets upset
when PC Reg Hollis (Jeff Stewart) appears to blank her following
their kiss on the dance floor at Jim and June’s wedding.
But with the misunderstanding explained, the passion is rekindled.
Things are less smooth for Inspector Gina Gold (Roberta Taylor)
when she hears lover Jonathan Fox (Larry Lamb) has requested
a transfer to another station.
