Frankie
hates the Battersbys but Jamie loves Leanne
Leanne (Jane Danson) delights in letting it slip to Frankie
(Debra Stevenson) that she will be working with her stepson.
Frankie is not at all amused, but Danny (Bradley Walsh) isn't
bothered either way. Leanne starts work behind the bar, but
the sleazy manager asks her to try on her new uniform - in
front of him! Jamie (Rupert Hill) leaps in to defend her honour
and they both end up sacked. Leanne is furious at first that
he has staked a claim to her but later on sees the funny side
and they share a sexy kiss.
And
newly engaged Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) and Sunita (Shobna Gulati)
start to plan their future. Everyone in Weatherfield is thrilled
to hear their happy news, and Sunita asks Dev to move in with
her, until his flat wrecked by Maya (Sasha Behar) is cleaned
up and redecorated.
Katy
Harris (Lucy-Jo Hudson) has passed her exams, but her grades
are too low to get into medical school. Martin (Sean Wilson)
worries that Tommy (Tom Craig) will blame him for Katy's lame
results but tries to reassure her that it’s best she
just tells Tommy the truth. Katy confides in her mother (Kathryn
Hunt) who tells her she must lie to her dad, because he would
go crazy if he knew the truth. What will Katy do?
