Debbie
and Ethan share a lingering kiss. Ethan (Liam O’Brien)
drives past Debbie (Charley Webb) on his way to see Andy (Kelvin
Fletcher) and offers to give her a lift up to the farm. Although
she knows that Andy is away, Debbie pretends to Ethan that
he might be in the top field.
As
they head up there Debbie seizes the opportunity and leans
in to give Ethan a lingering kiss. Ethan responds at first
before pulling away in horror. Has the curate gone too far
this time?
Elsewhere,
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is still furious with Syd (Nathan Gladwell)
and tells him he has stabbed her and Katie (Sammy Winward)
in the back. She is unaware that Sadie has also offered Katie
a job and Robert (Karl Davies) is disgusted that Sadie (Patsy
Kensit) is playing Katie off against her mates.
Later
on, Chas, Robert and Katie settle down to watch a video and
they all get a shock when the electricity goes off. Is this
Sadie’s ploy to get them out of Pear Tree Cottage once
and for all?
Meanwhile,
Jimmy (Nick Miles) continues to hassle his wife about his
concerns that they are failing to conceive. He suggests that
they go for some tests but Sadie is dismissive. What is she
trying to hide?
